GPSSA: activate remote employment system in the Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah Customer Happiness Centers

Abu Dhabi March 16, 2019: The General Pension and Social Security Authority has announced the start of the first stage to activate remote employment system in Customer Happiness Centers in both Emirates of Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah, where the services of these centers will be provided through the Authority’s website www.gpssa.gov.ae, within the package of services provided by the Authority to various groups benefiting from its services. It will also be possible to obtain these services by calling the Authority’s number 80010.

Hanan Al-Sahlawi, Executive Director of Pension Sector, has said that the Authority has already started applying this system in Customer Happiness Centers in the Emirates of Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah, within the UAE government directives aiming at promoting series of preventive and precautionary measures adopted by the Authority for the safety and health of citizens and residents.

She has explained that the Authority will benefit from its advanced technological infrastructure after conducting its digital transformation process which has transformed many of its services into electronic services, as this environment will support the Authority's current directions to activate remote employment system to confront all possibilities and preserve the interests of all the target groups of its services.

She has explained that other Customer Happiness Centers available in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah and Umm Al Quwain are still providing services to public and are studying the possibility of applying remote employment to them. However, the Authority calls on all groups that benefit from its services to use electronic services on the Authority's website instead of visiting its centers, in order to preserve their safety, in accordance with the governmental directions announced by the competent health authorities in the country.

She has added that the Authority advises its customers to follow it through the unified account (gpssaae) on Authority's channels on Instagram / Twitter / Facebook, in order to see the most important developments to be announced by the Authority from time to time about everything related to pension affairs.
