GPSSA: 100% completion of pension payroll remotely

Abu Dhabi, March 26, 2020 - Mohamed Saif Al Hameli, Director General of the General Pension & Social Security Authority (GPSSA), stated that GPSSA finalized the formalities for remote periodic payment for 100 % of retirement pensions this March. He pointed out that thanks to the concerted efforts made by the relevant sectors at the Authority, many retirement pension-related operations were enhanced. As a result, the retirement pensions for March were remotely paid.

"GPSSA's excellent ability to deal with all the variables and challenges enhances the customers' trust in its work. GPSSA managed to transform more than 90 % of its operations, within a short period, into remote operations. Such a digital transformation marks the successful efforts of the Government, enabling governmental authorities to cope with the Coronavirus (COVID-19) increasing challenges." Al Hameli commented.

"As a part of the Governmental Work System in the UAE, GPSSA will continue to deal with all the future developments positively. Since the Government called for taking precautionary measures to limit the outbreak of Coronavirus (COVID-19), GPSSA worked hard to activate the Remote Work System at its centers. GPSSA paid the pensions of the retirees and beneficiaries without requiring them to update their personal information for their security and safety." Al Hameli said.

Al Hameli called all the customers to contact GPSSA via its toll-free number (80010) or follow the GPSSA social media account. He also urged customers to use the procedural service of feedback and complaints, which is available via the GPSSA website (www.gpssa.gov.ae ) where they wish to provide their feedback, make complaints or apply for any service. "GPSSA and its staff will never spare any effort to respond to customers' requests and will accomplish them to the satisfaction and happiness of all customers." Al Hameli added.
