The Cabinet may grant exceptional pensions, increases to pensions or exceptional
benefits for the insured whose service is terminated for any reason whatsoever,
for pensioners or for beneficiaries thereof. The Cabinet may also grant exceptional
pensions or benefits to persons other than the ones mentioned in the preceding paragraph
from among the nationals who have presented great services to the country, or to
the families of the deceased in an accident deemed as a general catastrophe.
Such exceptional pensions and benefits shall be subject to the provisions of the
present Law without prejudice to the special provisions stipulated by the Cabinet.
The Government shall bear the value of the exceptional pensions.
