GPSSA launches ‘Discover the Benefits’ campaign to raise awareness on insurance, pension benefit
Abu Dhabi, 13 July 2022: The General Pension and Social Security Authority (GPSSA) announced the launch of a campaign entitled “Discover the Benefits” to raise awareness on insurance and pension benefits in the Federal Law No. 7 of 1999 for Pension and Social Security.
The campaign revolves around the theme of how insured individuals who are aware of the insurance benefits, as stated in the pension law, will be able to take informed decisions during their employment journey, which results in a more secure and safe journey for themselves and their families.
The campaign will also shed light on the services that contribute to achieving those benefits, as well as cases by which the law expands insurance coverage, benefits that may extend to sons and daughters and the approved compensation involved.
The law provides specifics on other insurance matters such as details on insured individuals suffering from work-related injuries or occupational diseases.
Through such campaigns, GPSSA aims to raise awareness for insured individuals covered by the provisions of the law to encourage them to take advantage of the benefits it provides in the best possible way, as the law consists of detailed information that, if understood thoroughly, can change retirement decisions and ensures insurers to continue working for longer periods of time to improve their overall standard of living.
The target audiences for this campaign include insurers, pensioners, beneficiaries and those covered by the insurance protection extension system.
The authority calls on all stakeholders to follow its social media accounts on Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook where they can benefit from learning more about GPSSA’s services and the campaign.
