Please read these terms and conditions carefully and thoroughly and make sure you understand and accept the same upon your access to or use of GPSSA’s Portal or Smart Application. If you do not agree to these terms, you will not be permitted to access the portal or use its services. Any use of this Portal constitutes your deemed acceptance of these terms

The purpose of these terms is to explain the rights, obligations and liabilities that exist between GPSSA and the User

These Terms apply to your access to and use of GPSSA’s website/Portal via https://gpssa.gov.ae/member

With its Portal and Smart Application, GPSSA strives to become an innovative pension services provider_Test_Neetesh

 

Terms

Access to or use of the Portal, either through GPSSA’s Portal or its Smart Application, constitutes an acknowledgement and acceptance in full and without any modification, condition or exception. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to amend, modify or altogether replace these Terms at any time with or without any prior notice. However, the User will be notified of any such changes. The continued use of the Portal following the posting of changes to the Terms shall be deemed acceptance thereof. If you do not agree to any part of such terms, conditions and notices as stated in these Terms in any manner, you must not access or use the Portal, and GPSSA may prevent the User from accessing the Portal if the User does not agree to the new or amended Terms. Additionally, kindly ensure the accuracy and completeness of all data that you provide to us that appears on the Portal

GPSSA recommends and urges Users to periodically visit this page to review and check the updated Terms

 

DEFINITIONS

 

GPSSA: The General Pension and Social Security Authority (GPSSA) is established in accordance with the UAE Federal Law No. 7 of 1999. The GPSSA headquarters is located in the Al Qiyadah Street behind the General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) building next to Zayed Sports City in Abu Dhabi.

Where the context requires, references to GPSSA shall include references to GPPSA’s employees, officers, agents and directors.

 

Pensions Law: Federal Law No. (7) of 1999 on Pensions and Social Security, as amended, and Federal Law No.(57) of 2023 on Pension and Security.

Applicable Law: All laws, legislation, decisions and circulars in force in the United Arab Emirates.

Terms: The Portal Use Terms and Conditions.

Force Majeure Event: Any event due to any cause beyond the reasonable control of GPSSA.

Guest Member: An individual who registers for limited services on the Portal as a guest, and who will also be deemed a Member.

Employer: In the government sector: Federal governmental authorities, public institutions, agencies, companies and banks (by which the federal government owns shares), in addition to local governmental authorities.

In the private sector: Every natural or juridical person employing UAE Nationals for a salary of whatever kind.

Beneficiary: Every individual entitled to a share of the pension after the death of an insured individual or pensioner.

Citizen: Every individual who is a citizen/national of the UAE pursuant to the law on naturalization and passports.

Non-Citizen: A citizen/national that is not a UAE national.

Member: An individual, whether a Citizen/National or Non-citizen residing in or outside the UAE, who is subject to the provisions of the GPSSA Law or other relevant laws.

IPR: Intellectual property rights, including any designs, creations, layouts, specifications, algorithms, methods, apparatus, systems, ideas or codes owned by GPSSA.

Licensor: Such person/s by which GPSSA licenses for intellectual property for the Portal.

Privacy Policy: GPSSA’s privacy policy as found on the Portal and updated from time to time.

User: Any individual permitted to use the Portal pursuant to these Terms.

User Profile: The account created for a User for use of the Portal after completion of registration/enrolment by the GPSSA as the case may be and which contains, amongst other things, the User’s personal and contact details.

 

User Eligibility

 

· In order to visit or use the Portal, a User must:

1. Be a Member and register on the Portal

2. Be at least eighteen (18) years of age

3. Have the legal capacity to contract, i.e. the User must not be a person barred from accessing and using the Portal and availing services through the Portal under the laws of the UAE or any other Applicable Law

4. Agree and accept that GPSSA at its sole discretion reserves the right to approve or reject access to the Portal. GPSSA also reserves the right to limit, suspend or cancel the access of a User to the Portal or apply such additional terms and conditions which it deems desirable for a User to access the Portal without any prior notice from the GPSSA. From time to time, GPSSA may require the User to produce medical/health documentation of the User’s status, the User’s right to access the Portal or any other related matter

 

 

Description of Services

· GPSSA’s web-based portal gives Members access to the core services available to Members such as (registration on the pension system, contribution calculation, disbursement of benefits and suggestions and inquiries management services) and any relevant requests and services which are provided on a daily basis and are core to the platform. GPSSA also strives to offer additional assistance whether through ready to use planners and calculators through its Portal

 

Registration

· In order to avail all services with the GPSSA, a User must be a Member and is obliged to register through the Portal. A User expressly commits to exclusively use digital communication via the Portal for security and efficiency purposes

· If a User is an agent, caretaker or legal guardian, he/she is required to register on the Portal

· Certain portions of the Portal are limited to registered Users and allow a User to request support or services online by entering personal information. Therefore, a User must confirm that any information provided to the GPSSA in these areas will be complete and accurate, that he/she will not register under the name of, nor attempt to enter the Portal under the name of another person, and that he/she will not adopt a user name that GPSSA, in its sole discretion, deems offensive

· Upon pre-registration/enrolment with the Portal a User will be provided a username and an initial password (the ‘Login Details’) which shall enable him to access the Portal. He/she can later change his initial password

· You may also register and use the GPSSA smart application, which is subject to all of the Terms specified herein. Additionally, you may access the Portal and smart application using your UAE Pass credentials

· All information provided by the User during the registration process and anytime thereafter will be dealt with in accordance with our Privacy Policy

· As part of the registration process, a User will be required to provide the following consents on the Portal in order for his/her Employer to complete its registration process:

1. For the Employer to access the User’s information on the Portal

2. To approve his/her salary and other details which have been entered by his/her Employer on the Portal

· A User will have a maximum of two days to provide the aforementioned consents, failure to register by the Employer will result in auto-cancellation and a new registration will be required to be submitted by the Employer

· A User must understand and agree that his/her period of service with the Employer will only start from the time of registration completion, as per the steps described above unless the Employer has paid the overdue contribution, penalty and fines related to late registration. A user must also agree to indemnify the GPSSA and hold it harmless from any loss, damage or liability arising out of his/her inability, failure or omission to provide the aforementioned consents. GPSSA will not be liable for any forfeiture of benefits to the Insured due to such failure

 

USER WARRANTIES

A User warrants and represents that while using the Portal:

1. He/she is acting solely on his own account and for his/her own benefit and not for or on behalf of any other person, unless he/she is acting as an agent, caretaker or legal guardian

2. Has the requisite capacity, right, power and authority to agree to these Terms and if applicable necessary actions have been taken by him/her to authorize such execution, delivery and performance under these Terms

3. Acceptance of these Terms shall not cause him/her to be in breach of any provisions of Applicable Law

4. Declare that all information provided by him/her to the GPSSA is true, accurate and not misleading in any way

5. Undertake to use the Portal solely for personal and non-commercial usage

6. Agree that each of the representations and warranties contained in this Clause shall be deemed to have been given by the User at the time of agreeing to these Terms and again each time that he/she accesses the Portal

7. It is the User’s responsibility to read and understand all material, disclosures and confirmation statements in connection with the services provided through the Portal

8. Ensure all passwords, entry codes, Login Details and details which allow access to the Portal, are kept confidential and shall not be disclosed or shared, and that no other person shall gain entry to the Portal. The User accepts responsibility for all consequences of any such unauthorized access, including but not limited to, all financial consequences

9. The User agrees and undertakes to ensure that he/she does not disable, block, delete, alter or otherwise circumvent any security protocols or procedures put in place by GPSSA

10. The User acknowledges, agrees and accepts that all services which are placed through the Portal and accepted or executed by the GPSSA shall be binding on the User

 

USE OF PORTAL

· These Terms govern the access to and use of the Portal. Any other agreements or documents that are not expressly incorporated by reference into these Terms are excluded. The User shall not use the Portal for any purpose other than those specified in these Terms and, in particular, the User shall not use the Portal in any manner which is contrary to Applicable Laws or public morals of the UAE as determined by the GPSSA in its sole discretion. As a User, you are solely responsible for the consequences of the decisions and actions made through the Portal, some of which may be irreversible

· Non-compliance with any of these Terms may result in immediate termination of the right to access or use the Portal. The User is solely responsible for his/her activities and the information provided personally on the Portal and agrees to indemnify GPSSA for any claims resulting there from. The GPSSA reserves the right to monitor your activities on the Portal

· The User understands that services may include certain communications by the GPSSA as service announcements and administrative messages. The User agrees that the services are provided on an ‘as is’ basis and that GPSSA does not assume any responsibility for deletions, mis-delivery or failure to store any User communications or personalized settings

· The User agrees and undertakes not to reverse engineer, modify, copy, distribute, transmit, display, perform, reproduce, publish, license, create derivative works from, transfer or sell any information, software, products, services or intellectual property obtained from the Portal in any manner whatsoever. Limited reproduction and copying of the content of the Portal is permitted provided that the prior written consent of GPSSA has been obtained. Unlimited or wholesale reproduction, copying of the content for commercial or non-commercial purposes and unwarranted modification of data and information within the content of the Portal is not permitted

· If the User is not a UAE resident, by using this Portal or submitting his/her personal information or any other information on the Portal, he expressly consents to the transfer of such data to the UAE, and to the processing of the data by the GPSSA. The User’s data will be governed by UAE law which may not offer the same level or type of protection to personal data as that available in his country of residence. As such, the User agrees to and accepts this risk

· The User agrees that GPSSA will receive, store, use and disclose all User data in accordance with the Applicable Law and GPSSA’s Privacy Policy as found on the Portal and updated from time to time

 

User Account Obligations

· The User shall maintain the confidentiality of his/her user name and password and will be responsible for all activities that occur under his/her user name and password. GPSSA will not be responsible for any loss or damage that may arise as a result of any failure by the User to protect his/her account or password. It should be noted that GPSSA will not be responsible or liable for any discrepancy of information the User provides that is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete

 

DATA UPDATE

· As part of the registration process, the User is required to provide information that is true, accurate, current, and complete in all respects

· The User will also be required to undergo GPSSA’s (Know Your Client) and other due diligence processes. This may require the User to provide copies of identification document, proof of address and other information as may be requested by the GPSSA from time to time

· The User agrees and undertakes to keep his User Profile up-to-date and acknowledges that the GPSSA is entitled to rely and act upon any information contained in the User Profile (including, but not limited to, settlement and payment instructions, authorized User information and contact information). The User agrees to indemnify and hold the GPSSA harmless from any loss, damage or liability arising from the User’s inability, failure or omission to keep the User Profile (or any part thereof) up-to-date

· Should any of the User’s registration information change or he/she suspect any unauthorized use of his/her account, he must notify GPSSA immediately

· Every User is obliged to notify the GPSSA via the Portal of the additional services by confirming his/her continued eligibility by submission of updated information (pension entitlement update) as and when required. Failure by the User to timeously update his/her data will result in the following:

1. The GPSSA shall be entitled to disregard any additional benefits which may be due to a Member, or suspend User access to some or all features of the Portal

2. Notifications will be sent to the User who fails to submit his/her pension entitlement update before the lapse of one month from the date due, stating that the User shall be required to submit the pension entitlement update within one month as of the date of the notification, and if the pension entitlement update is not submitted by the end of the one month period, any additional benefits which should accrue to the User in respect to the updated pension entitlement shall be suspended

3. In exceptional cases GPSSA may require a physical visit by the User to a branch for face-to-face submission of pension entitlement update. If there is a request for physical attendance, a two-week period will be given to the User from the date he/she was requested to do so by the GPSSA

4. In case of failure to update information, GPSSA will not be liable for any forfeiture of benefits to the Insured

· The User or the User’s heirs must inform GPSSA immediately of the occurrence of any change or event which affects the User’s awareness to update their data and/or any information regarding the eligibility of the User status or eligibility as a Member, whether as Pensioner, Insured or Beneficiary, under the GPSSA Law, including and without limitation, re-employment, unemployment, retirement, marriage or death, coming of age (21 years) without proof of continued dependency. If the GPSSA is not informed of any such change in a timely manner the following shall result:

1. The Insured’s benefits are less than the Insured should be entitled to receive. The User is not entitled to lost benefits on a retroactive basis

2. GPSSA overpays any benefits to the Insured and is entitled to claim repayment of such overpaid amounts from the User as well as reimbursement of all of GPSSA’s costs and expenses

3. In case of fraud or misconduct, all amounts of benefit paid to the User must be repaid to the GPSSA, who are entitled to take the necessary legal action/s

 

DATA SHARING

· The User acknowledges and agrees that his data may be shared with or made accessible to other UAE government bodies, and that the GPSSA may receive disclosures about the User from these other government bodies

 

AMOUNTS DUE TO THE GPSSA

· GPSSA shall have the unilateral right to claim the return of any amount unduly paid to a Member (whether Insured, Pensioner, Beneficiary or heir) due to the failure by the User to notify GPSSA of any changes and amendments to his/her status which affects the continued disbursement of a Pension, including and without limitation, re-employment, death, etc.

 

LINKS TO THIRD PARTY SITES

The Portal may contain communication links to other websites (Linked Sites). GPSSA is not responsible for any errors, inclusions, omissions or representations on any Linked Site or on any link contained in a Linked Site. GPSSA does not endorse advertisements on other websites or on any link contained in a Linked Site of any manner. The User is requested to verify the accuracy of all information on his/her own before undertaking reliance of such information

 

USE OF COMMUNICATION SERVICES

· The Portal may contain services such as e-mail, chat, bulletin board services, news groups, forums, communities, personal profiles, social media platforms, calendars, and/or other message services (hereinafter collectively referred to as Communication Services. The User agrees and undertakes to use the Communication Services only to post, send and receive messages, materials and/or information that is proper and appropriate for the type of Communication Services by which they are transmitted. The User is deemed to be using the Portal anytime he/she accesses, views, links to ‘or’ from or otherwise interacts or communicates with ‘or’ connects to the Portal (or any parts thereof) including and without limitation, on message boards, chat rooms and/or other communities created on the Portal, if any

· The GPSSA reviews material posted through Communication Services and removes any material at its sole discretion, and reserves the right to terminate access to any or all of the Communication Services at any time without notice

· The GPSSA does not control or endorse the content, messages or information found in any Communication Services and specifically disclaims any liability or responsibility regarding the Communication Services and any actions resulting from the User’s participation in any Communication Services

 

Breach

· Without prejudice to the other remedies available to GPSSA under these Terms or under Applicable Law, GPSSA may limit the User’s activity, warn other Users of the User’s actions, immediately, temporarily or indefinitely suspend the User’s registration and/or refuse to provide the User with access to the Portal if:

1. The User is in breach of these Terms and/or the documents it incorporates by reference

2. The GPSSA is unable to verify or authenticate any information provided by the User

3. Fails to provide information digitally on the Portal

4. Fails to update its information on the Portal. Fails to notify GPSSA of loss of eligibility (for example, the death or disability of a Member where the User was receiving benefits in the name of that Member in his/her capacity as Beneficiary under the GPSSA Law)

5. Fails to make its contribution to the GPSSA for three consecutive months

6. Fails to submit the annual declaration or register him/herself on the Portal with the GPSSA

7. The GPSSA discovers that the User’s actions may infringe any third-party rights or breach the Applicable Law or otherwise result in any liability to other Users of the Portal and/or the GPSSA

· The GPSSA may at any time and at its sole discretion reinstate suspended Users. Once the User has been indefinitely suspended, he/she may not register or attempt to register with the GPSSA or use the Portal in any manner whatsoever until reinstated by the GPSSA

· The User acknowledges that a suspension or termination of registration may result in an interruption or loss of benefits by which the User may otherwise have been entitled to

· If the User breaches these Terms or the documents it incorporates by reference, resulting in excess payment made by the GPSSA to a User or payment to an incorrect recipient, the GPSSA reserves the right to:

1. Recover any amounts due and owed by the User to the GPSSA

2. Clear excess payments against any payment due to the User

3. Calculate excess payments as deemed payments due to any Beneficiary

4. Take such action as GPSSA deems necessary or desirable

 

Intellectual Property

· The content of the Portal and all copyrights, patents, trademarks, service marks, trade names and all other intellectual property rights therein are owned by the GPSSA

· The GPSSA and related logos, as well as other words and logos on the Portal, are considered either unregistered trademarks or registered trademarks of the GPSSA, and are protected by international trademark and other intellectual property rights and laws. GPSSA’s trademark may not be used in connection with any product or service that is not provided by the GPSSA nor in any manner that disparages or discredits the GPSSA. All other trademarks not owned by the GPSSA that appear on the Portal are the property of their respective owners who may or may not be affiliated with, connected to, or sponsored by the GPSSA. Portal graphics, logos, page headers, button icons, scripts and service names are the trademarks of the Portal and are the sole and exclusive property of the GPSSA

· The User acknowledges and agrees that he/she shall not have nor be entitled to claim any rights in and to the Portal content and/or any portion thereof other than the right to access and use the Portal subject to these Terms

· The User (and any third party) is not permitted to perform the following:

1. Copy, modify, adapt, translate or otherwise create derivative works of the Portal or the IPR

2. Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or attempt to discover the IPR (including the source code or object code of the Portal or any of the services)

3. Rent, lease, sell, assign or transfer rights in or to the Portal or the IPR

4. Remove proprietary notices or labels on the Portal or the IPR

5. Use, post, transmit or introduce any device, software or routine which interferes or attempts to interfere with the operation of the Portal or the IPR

· The User acknowledges and agrees that he/she will not upload, post, reproduce or distribute any content on or through the Portal that is protected by copyright or other proprietary right of a third party without obtaining the permission of the owner of such right. Any copyrighted or other proprietary content distributed on or through the Portal (with consent of the owner) must contain the appropriate copyright or other proprietary rights notice. The unauthorized submission or distribution of copyrighted or other proprietary content is illegal and could be subject to the User for personal liability or criminal prosecution

 

Licenses

· Subject to these Terms, GPSSA hereby grants the User the following limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-assignable, royalty-free rights and licenses.

I. To access, view and otherwise use the Portal (including and without limitation any information or services provided on or through the Portal) for the User’s personal lawful use only and as intended through the normal functionality of the Portal

II. The License to obtain a registered personal account (and related username and password) on the Portal and interact with other Portal users as part of the Communication service

 

Disclaimer

· GPSSA does not guarantee operational interruptions and/or errors on GPSSA’s website. Nor can the Authority confirm that the portal will be free of viruses or harmful elements

· GPSSA will continue to seek and provide accurate, complete and current information but does not guarantee the Portal will be free from typographical errors, technical inaccuracies or other incorrect information. GPSSA reserves the right to add to, change or delete the content in the Portal without prior notice

· GPSSA is not be responsible for delay or inability to use the Portal. Furthermore, GPSSA shall not be held responsible for non-availability of the Portal during periodic maintenance operations or any unplanned suspension of access to the Portal and/or disruption to the services that may occur due to technical reasons or for any other reason

· The User acknowledges and agrees that any material and/or data downloaded or otherwise obtained from GPSSA through the Portal is done entirely at his/her discretion and risk and that he/she will be solely responsible for any damage to his/her computer or any other loss that results from such material and/or data. These limitations, disclaimer of warranties and exclusions apply without regard to whether the damages arise from (breach of contract, breach of warranty, negligence, or any other cause of action), to the extent such exclusion and limitations are not prohibited by Applicable Law

· GPSSA disclaims any and all liability, current or future, for any error made or omission committed with respect to the transmission of data, information and/or material available on this Portal

 

Electronic Communication

· GPSSA will communicate with the User by posting information on the Portal or via other means of electronic communication. The User approves that all agreements, notices, disclosures and other information communicated will satisfy any legal requirement if presented in writing. The User acknowledges that the electronic communication involves the transmission or receipt of data over a network and carries the risk of theft, loss, disclosure, corruption or destruction of such data due to system failure, network failure, unauthorized access by third parties whether intentional or unintentional, virus or other malicious software, or other factors beyond the reasonable control of GPSSA (or its service providers). The User understands and accepts such risks and uses the Portal entirely at his own risk

 

Limitation of Liability and Injunctive Relief

 

· The User understands and agrees that neither GPSSA nor its officers, employees, directors, agents, or licensors shall be liable to the User or anyone else under any theory of liability (whether in contract, offense, statutory or otherwise) for any direct, indirect, punitive, incidental, special, consequential or any other damages resulting from:

1. The use or the inability to use the services through the Portal

2. The cost of procurement of a substitute to avail the services though the Portal

3. Unauthorized access to or alteration of the User’s transmissions or data

4. Any other matter relating to the services availed through the Portal including and without limitation to damages for loss of use, data or profits, arising from or connected with availing services through the Portal

 

· GPSSA makes no representation/s or warranty/is towards the suitability of the Portal for any purpose. The Portal is made available by the GPSSA on an ‘as is’ basis and any express or implied warranty/ies is/are disclaimed. In no event shall GPSSA be liable for any direct, indirect, special or consequential damages or losses however caused and arising in any way while using the Portal

 

· GPSSA shall not be responsible for and expressly disclaims any loss (including loss of profits, lost opportunity, damage to reputation, and third party claims of any kind), damages or liability arising as a result of:

      • The loss, theft, disclosure, corruption or destruction of data transmitted on or through the Portal
      • A software defect or malfunction (howsoever caused)
      • A computer virus, malware, spyware or other unauthorized or malicious third-party program
      • Any unauthorized access (such as hijacking, hacking or otherwise) of the Portal, or the network/s by which the Portal operates
      • A third-party gaining access to GPSSA’s systems or those systems or network/s used by the Portal

 

· The Portal is supported by computer-based component systems for execution, matching and User registration. As with all facilities and systems, these are vulnerable to temporary or permanent disruption or failure. GPSSA assumes no liability for any such disruption or failure (whether temporary or permanent). GPSSA gives no assurance that the Portal will be available for use by the User at any given time or at all

· GPSSA expressly disclaims responsibility for loss (including loss of profit), damages and liability arising out of the malfunction of the Portal (or any component thereof)

 

Indemnity

  • The User agrees to indemnify, defend and hold harmless GPSSA, its officers, directors, employees, and agents (the ‘Indemnified Parties’) from any claims, actions, demands, damages, losses (including attorney’s fees) alleged, made, suffered or incurred by or against the Indemnified Parties (or any of them) arising directly or indirectly from the use or misuse of the Portal or any content, a breach of these Terms, violation of any third party’s proprietary rights, or any disputes between the User and one or more Users connected to or arising from the Portal in any way. This clause shall survive the termination of the User’s registration on the Portal

 

Severability

· If any provision or part of any provision of these Terms shall be found by any authority or court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid or unenforceable, such invalidity or unenforceability shall not affect the other provisions or parts of such provisions of these Terms, which shall remain in full force and effect

 

Termination of these Terms

· The GPSSA may terminate these Terms with or without cause at any time. The User agrees that the GPSSA may without prior notice, and without the need for a court order, immediately terminate the User’s access to the Portal. Should the User object to any terms and conditions of these Terms or become dissatisfied with any of the services made available through the Portal in any way, the User’s only recourse is to immediately:

1. Discontinue use of the Portal

2. Notify the GPSSA of such discontinuance

· Upon termination, the User’s right to use the Portal shall cease immediately. The User shall have no right and the GPSSA shall have no obligation thereafter to execute any of the User’s uncompleted service requests, forward any unread or unsent messages to the User or any third party. Once the User’s registration or use of the Portal is terminated, cancelled or suspended, any data that the User has stored on the Portal may not be retrieved later. However, termination is without prejudice to any sums owed to GPSSA, which sums shall continue to be payable by the User

· In the event of termination, the User will no longer be authorized to access the Portal, and the GPSSA will use any means possible to enforce this termination

· The Clauses ‘Use of Portal, Use of Communication Services, Disclaimer, Limitation of Liability and Injunctive Relief, Indemnity, Disclosure of Information and Governing Law and Dispute Resolution’ shall survive the expiry or termination of these Terms

 

Notices

· All notices and communication from the User to GPSSA in relation to the Portal and/or any of the services shall be in writing and submitted electronically via the ‘Complaints and Suggestions Form’ available on the Portal

· Notice shall be deemed to have been served if delivered personally, or mailed by registered or certified mail (acknowledgement receipt requested) within seven (7) days after it has been sent, dispatched, and shall be deemed received, as the case may be, by the GPSSA to the User at the registered address provided upon registration to the Portal

 

Force Majeure

· GPSSA shall be released from its obligations under these Terms in case of an event of Force Majeure, until such time as the event of Force Majeure comes to an end

 

Disclosure of Information

· GPSSA agrees that all User information (unless it is information already in the public domain, hereinafter the ‘Information’) will be treated with confidentiality except in the following instances, by which case GPSSA shall be entitled to, and the User hereby consents to, the disclosure and/or transmission of Information as the GPSSA, at its sole discretion, deems necessary or appropriate:

1. Where disclosure is made during the course of legal proceedings

2. Where disclosure is required by the law

3. Where disclosure is necessary for the GPSSA to perform its obligations under these Terms

· GPSSA shall receive, process, store, use, disclose and transmit all Information in accordance with its privacy policy which is available for viewing on the Portal, and which may be updated from time to time

 

Complaints

· If the User has a complaint related to any issue, he/she may contact the GPSSA through the ‘Complaints and Suggestions’ link

 

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

  • These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the Federal Law of the United Arab Emirates
  • Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms, including any question regarding their existence, validity or termination, shall be referred to and finally resolved in the UAE’s federal courts
