End of Service of GCC Nationals

As part of the insurance protection extension system and in coordinatio with the General Pension and Social Security Authority, this service enables employers in the government and private sectors in the United Arab Emirates to terminate the service of their GCC employees who are covered by the civil pension authority in their own home country.

The process

Log on to the Ma'ashi platform and apply for the service “End of Service for GCC Citizens”

Use the Unified Login System (UAEPASS) if you are already registered, or register a new account if you are not

Submit the service request

Prerequisites

  • The employer must be registered with the General Pension and Social Security Authority .
  • The employee to whom the service is to be provided must be:
    • A citizen of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries
    • Employed by an entity in the United Arab Emirates

    • Copy of valid passport

    • Salary details from the date of appointment until the end of service
  • In the event that the insured GCC individual obtains the Emirati nationality:
    • The unified system of extending insurance protection form, approved and stamped by the employee and the employer
    • Emirates ID
    • National ID
    • A copy of the UAE passport
    • A letter from the bank with the international bank account number

Proactive tips - before applying for the service

  • It must be ensured that the GCC National employee is registered with the General Pension and Social Security Authority (GPSSA) in the UAE under the Insurance Protection Extension System, and that their data is correct and updated.
  • The employer must ensure the payment of all due insurance contributions for the worker up to their last working day and that there are no financial errors or discrepancies in the employee's monthly salary data.

Proactive Tips – After Applying for the Service

  • The status of the request can be tracked via the Ma'ashi Digital Platform to ascertain if it has been approved or if any unsubmitted documents are required.
  • A notification will be sent via email upon the approval of the request or if there is a need to submit additional documents.
  • In the event that there is a delay or discrepancy in the entitlements, direct communication must be established with the pension agency in the GCC employee's country to follow up on the procedure.
