• Scope

The General Pension and Social Security Authority (GPSSA) respects the privacy of its users and highly values their trust and confidence in the UAE’s pension authority. As such, we will outline herein below the types of information we collect, how user information is used and how user rights are safeguarded while accessing GPSSA’s website.

This Privacy Policy is subject to change at any time and for any reason; hence, GPSSA recommends and encourages users to periodically review the updated Privacy Policy and to stay updated with its terms and conditions.

Please note that accessing GPSSA’s employee mobile application affirms a user’s commitment to be bound by the Privacy Policy in force at the time of usage.

• Automatic save of information

When using application, GPSSA automatically gathers and stores certain data about a user’s visit. This information is used for statistical and performance-related purposes only and includes the following:

• Geolocation in order to validate user for providing attendance services
• Identification information such as personal name and contact details
• The type of mobile device used
• The date and time the user accessed the application
• The screens accessed

GPSSA does not collect this data for commercial or marketing purposes and does not sell, exchange or otherwise distribute data collected for any purpose other than those specified above.

Please note that users may wish to participate in occasional online consumer surveys which are conducted in order to learn more about their mobile app usage experience. Data gathered from surveys is also used for the purpose of research and feedback, which supports GPSSA’s quest to improve its services.

• External Links

GPSSA employee app does not contain links to other websites. However, GPSSA uses Microsoft Azure AD for authenticating purposes. Login form will be shown from Microsoft portal which is configured with GPSSA domain account.

• Information Security

GPSSA has appropriate security measures in place to protect against the loss, misuse or alteration of information that has been posted. These measures cover commercial software programs and secure technology infrastructure to monitor network traffic, authenticate legitimate users and identify unauthorized attempts to upload or change information or otherwise cause damage.

• Personal Information Access and amendment

GPSSA may provide registered users with personal information that has been collected from them upon request. Users are encouraged to correct any errors in their personal information so that the right level of interaction with the GPSSA’s mobile app is maintained.

The entire terms and conditions of the Privacy Policy shall apply to all users.
